Once again all supplies used are all from Stampin' Up!.

Taking a Break from Christmas Cards

Yes, I know its been a while since I last posted anything and I am sorry. Please forgive me. I have 5 kids and now I'm a single parent. No, I'm not divorced or separated, but my Husband's employer has transferred him to Kansas City, MO, so I'm home taking care of home and Quads + 1 all by my lonesome.

Any who, let's get to the cards, shall we? This first card is clean, simple and I thought very pretty. The card measures 4.25 X 5.5 and there's a fair amount of embossing involved. All supplies used are from Stampin' Up! and is available for purchase here. Here's the supply list.
Supplies Used all Stampin' Up! :
Whisper White card stock, Elegant Eggplant card stock, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set for sentiment (#115370), Bella's Border Stampin' Wheel (112476) for the embossed image, Stampin' Dimensionals, Clear Embossing Powder, White Embossing powder and my favorite, Stampin' Up! Organza Ribbon (#114319) in Whisper White. I also used the Stampin' Around Wheel Guide (#104834) because I used the Bella's Border Stampin' Wheel on the diagonal. Last but not least, I used a corner rounder on the bottom corners of the card (#109047).
I hope you enjoy the card, let me know your thoughts on the card and I hope it inspires you to do some stamping. Have a stampin' good day.

Merry Christmas...In July

Two post in one day, I think I'm breaking a record!! I have been seeing a lot of Christmas cards poping up on several blogs and websites (SCS) so I thought I would join in on the fun and create a card myself. For this card I wanted to jazz up the top layer (Old Olive) and use the exclusive Sizzix Texturz Plate that you can only obtain from a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator (that would be me) instead of using christmas DSP. To achieve the bold embossed textured look I simply lightly sprayed rubbing alcohol on the cardstock and used another piece of cardstock as a "shim" in the sandwich stack used with the BigShot. The "shim" and light spray of rubbing alcohol helped me to have a deeper impression of the Texturz plate. The stamp sets used are new this year to the 2009-2010 IB&C, they are Tree Trimmings and Teeny Tiny Wishes. I also used some Sizzix dies that are also exclusive to Stampin' Up!, the Top Note Bigz Die and Birds and Blooms Sizzlits. If you would like to recreate this card, contact me today and let's schedule a Workshop for a Demonstration. Thanks for stopping by, have a Stampin' Good Day!!

Happy Sweet Birthday

I absolutely love, love, love this stamp. It is the Sweet Birthday stamp (115564) and it is one of many beautiful single stamps that Stampin' Up! is offering for Under $10. On page 208 of the
2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog (US) you will find that Stampin' Up! has several single stamps that are under $10 and they are all wonderful to use. I paired this stamp with the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper (love, love, love it) and the In-Color Rich Razzelberry. I used Orchid Opulence Classic Ink on the cake image and Basic Black on the sentiment. If you would like to re-create this card Contact Me today and we can schedule a Workshop built around the Under $10 Stamps that Stampin' Up! offers. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy!

One Stamp, Four Great Looks

Hi Stampers, today's cards are all made with the same stamp. I got this stamp from "A Large Scrapbooking Box Store." I used Stazon ink to stamp the image on watercolor paper and then colored in the image using Stampin' Up! Stampin' Write Markers in Pumpkin Pie, Real Read, Summer Sun, Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise. I also used the same colors in the cardstock, except the scallop yellow is non-SU!. I hope you enjoy the cards. Thanks for stopping by, have a stamping good day!.

A Walk in the Park Thanks

Hi Stampers. Today I'm uploading a card that I gave to a potential customer a few weeks ago. This card features the Walk in the Park DSP (#115123) found on page 9 of the Occasions Mini Catalog. I also paired the DSP with the Wow Flowers stamp set (#111714). The colors in the DSP are Baha Breese, Basic Gray, Whisper White and Cameo Coral. I also added some Baha Breeze 5/8" grosgrain ribbon (#111375) to the card and I made the scallop edge on the card using the Slit Punch (#104388) by removing the guard on the punch. Thanks for stopping by, Have a stamping good day!

Happy Birthday Hubby

Okay, I think that this will be my final post for today. I'm all posted out. This card I made for my Husband for his 40th Birthday. On the card I used Designer Series Paper, Walk in the Park (115123), featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog, Kiwi Kiss Grosgrain Ribbon (111372), Basic Gray Card stock (108692) and the "Happy" is spelled using the Basic Gray card stock as well as the Stampin' Up! Billboard Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die (114510). (whew, that's a mouth-full) I also added a decorative edge to the DSP using the Scallop Edge Punch (112091). The white letters are from American Crafts Thicker Stickers Letters . Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoyed the posts and the cards today. Oh, before I forget, Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pink in Manhattan

Isn't she pretty? I used the new Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions Die - Manhattan Flower (114517) to emboss the entire card front. I then used the 2-Way Glue Pen (100425) to trace along the embossed image on the card front. After the glue was applied to the embossed image, I sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds Stampin' Glitter (102023). To top it off I stamped images from the Great Friend (113792) stamp set found in the Occasions Mini Catalog, good through June 30, 2009, and popped it on the front with Stampin' Dimensionals(104430) . Isn't she a beaut? Thanks for looking, bye.

Happy Birthday!!!!!

Hi Stampers,
Today's post is NSR...somewhat...It was 4 years ago today that I was introduced to the wonderful world of Scrapbooking. It is also the day that I gave birth to the World's Most Beautiful Quadruplets!! Yes, I said Quadruplets. In birth order, Madison Nicole (2lbs 10 oz), Bryson Prince (2lbs 12 oz), Josiah Carrington (2 lbs 11 oz) and Nyla Paige (1 lb 15oz). All babies were born healthy and were in the hospital as "growers and feeders." Bryson came home 4 weeks later on Easter Sunday, he was my chocolate Easter Bunny. Madison and Josiah came home next at 5 weeks, they were my Birthday present (3-31) and Nyla came home at 8 weeks, just one day shy of their original due date (Apr 30th). They are healthy, happy, strong and getting bigger each second of the day. I will post pics later after they have had cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday Sweeties!!!!!!! Momma Loves You All!!!!!!!!!!!

My First Post

Hi Stampers. Today I am "officially" a Blogger. I am so excited to be a Blogger now. I will use my blog to showcase my card and scrapbooking masterpieces. Today I am sharing with you the Birthday Card that I made for my Best Friend in the entire world (drumroll please...) Patricia T. Her Birthday was Feb. 11th and I still have not given her the card yet! We were supposed to get together this weekend for lunch, but hey, when you've got kids, life sometimes gets in the way. I know she will love it when I finally give it to her. (at least I hope so).
The card measures 4.25" X 5.5". I used Georgia Peach Designer Series Paper (DSP), its from Stampin' Up! and is now retired (sad face) and also from Stampin' Up! Whisper White, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink cardstock. Also used is the Scallop Circle Punch and the 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" Circle Punch also from Stampin' Up! The birthday sentiment is from the Upsy Daisy stamp set, the cute cupcake is from the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set and the "happy birthday" sentiment surrounding the cupcake is from the Think Happy Thoughts stamp set. All of these items are from Stampin' Up! and can be purchased online 24/7 from my Stampin' Up! website, just click the link on the right and shop all night.
Thanks for stopping by. That's all for now. Love, peace and stamps.
